Combining some fun and learning about team dynamics and human behaviour is why we have engaged with John from RED - Serious Fun & Games over the last two years to run our team building days.

These are annual events where all staff take some time out for an afternoon to relax and bond with their colleagues. The events are highly engaging and great fun, but they also provide a number of great learning opportunities.

Staff need to strategize, plan, resource cleverly and harness all their individual capability into a team to complete a series of physical and mental challenges. We have found the design of the games to be seriously clever and most importantly, our employees have loved the interaction and competition.

At the end of the day, management also gets some very valuable insights from John and his teams’ observations of the team interactions. Last year we tackled an Olympic themed event and this year we took on a double challenge, Minute to Win It and then Big Picture. We can’t wait until next year!
